polished bronze and stainless steel Private collection 300 X 300 X 300mm I enjoyed exploring the sensuous breast forms reflected in this work. My training as a silversmith aided in achieving the goal of a highly polished surface.

Judges
Bronze 400 x 280 x 120mm 1:10 scale maquette
Designed for a court house sculpture commission, both forms can be separately turned to create changing spatial patterns
A more personal reflection on the vagaries of law can be achieved by positioning the works to evoke elements of satire, recognisable to the legal fraternity.
The turn tables are designed so that the ponderous forms can be easily and safely moved by a child.

Bronze and silver 450 x 180 x 120mm
Private collection
Latin for "rest", the word suggests protection and enclosure. The two bronze forms nurture the precious seed made in silver. I've explored a number of elements in this work, male and female, strong and tender, the opposites linked by one of our most ancient symbols, the spiral. |

Pan
Bronze 300 high edition of 10
People like the abstract swirling musicality of this table sculpture that sits equally well in the garden.
Ours has acquired a pleasant green patina that blends naturally with the smooth river boulder elevating him over one of our ponds. |
